The Beginning…
At a major transition in Cindy’s life, TRMI began with a seed sowed by a minister from Pittsburgh, PA. This meeting was truly orchestrated by the Lord and is too long to share here but feel free to ask us sometime :) From that day onwards, Cindy began leading teams called S.H.O.F.A.R (Surrendered Hearts Offering Freedom and Restoration) to several parts of America, India, Europe, UK and the Middle East. Cindy started TRMI with a vision to release Worship and shift atmospheres in the darkest places of the earth, train and equip others to do the same, care for orphans and widows and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
TRMI’s first worship school took place in India in 2010. Since then TRMI has trained thousands, specifically in hearing God’s voice, worship and missions. From Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, to the highlands of Scotland, from Mount Carmel in Israel to the Grand Canyon (and all the other places in between), the name of Jesus has been lifted high through Worship, Prayer and Prophetic Intercession! (Malachi 1:11)
Enter Joseph…
At a church service in Kochi, India that Cindy was leading worship and preaching, she met Joseph, who was playing guitar and was on the worship team. The rest, as they say is history. Again, toooo long to share here but feel free to ask us anytime! After Joseph & Cindy’s marriage in 2009, they have led TRMI together, traveled tens of thousands of miles, fulfilling the destiny of God on their lives, and they continue to live by faith and go where the Lord says GO! In 2016, they recorded their first LIVE Worship CD, LOVE OF THE FATHER, of songs they jointly wrote and a second LIVE EP, LAY IT ALL DOWN, comprising of prophetic spontaneous worship moments in 2022.
Living by faith…
After Joseph & Cindy’s marriage in 2009, they have led TRMI together. They have lived a life of faith and adventure, trusting and waiting on the Lord for every thing they set out to do. Here’s some highlights:
POOL 2010: The first Worship & Missions trip the Mathews led as a couple with a team of 5 to India. They also helped host a 24 hour worship gathering in Bangalore, that has seen much fruit, lasting till this day.
EXTRAVAGANT LOVE OFFERING 2011: 24 Hours of worship & prayer in Mt. Gilead, OH.
PRESENCE 88: In 2013, they traveled to all 88 counties in Ohio, releasing worship and prayer at every county court house, calling forth the “hidden Davids’ to be raised up and for revival in Ohio. The Mathews drove out of their driveway with literally $2.63 but the Lord supernaturally provided for 55 days as He took them all over Ohio to complete the mission of all 88 counties.
REFORMATION 2014: The following year, the Lord took them to 10 different nations to redig wells of revival and reformation, starting with Oberlin, Ohio; Herrnhut, Germany; London, England; France, Mount Moriah, Wales; several parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland and Dublin, Ireland and releasing worship and calling forth the bride of Christ in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and India.
In 2015, they started connecting with several worshipers in Ohio and helped raise up Worship & Prayer throughout the state. The Mathews were also part of ‘Hope For Columbus’ which started as a 10 day Worship & Prayer event which lasted for several weeks in Downtown Columbus. During this time they also led a team to go back to the UK to release Worship and Prayer and reconnect with the houses of prayer they had connected with in 2014. This trip was called “THUNDER UK 2015”. They helped host a 24 hour non-Worship gathering in Bangor, Northern Ireland and some of the musicians and friends they met there would go on to be a big part of their lives, even until this day.
WORSHIP AT THE RIVER: In May of 2015, the Mathews hosted 33 continuous hours of Worship in partnership with several churches in Ohio, as teams prayed along the Ohio river.
REVIVAL 66: In 2016, the Mathews led a team of 7 to 12 different places in America, starting from downtown Chicago, all the way to Santa Monica, releasing worship and prayer all through the historic Route 66. This was again another amazing trip where the Lord provided supernaturally and did great things.
STAKE OHIO: On July 1st, 2016, the Mathews gathered and sent several prophetic intercessors and worshippers to all 4 corners of Ohio, staking the state in the shape of a cross, making decrees and releasing worship and prayer.
THE RESPONSE 2016: Outreach ministry in the Greater Cleveland area and Worship at the Q for The Response gathering hosted by Doug Stringer
LOVE OF THE FATHER: Later in 2016, they recorded their first LIVE Worship CD, LOVE OF THE FATHER, of songs they jointly wrote, in Columbus Ohio.
WORSHIP SCHOOL: 1st Worship School in Columbus Ohio in 2017 and a second one in Cardington, OH in 2018.
WORSHIP & PRAYER SUMMIT in Herrnhut, Germany - August 2017,
ISRAEL & INDIA 2018: The Mathews led a team of 5 on their first trip to Israel and later to India on worship & missions and training many in Hyderabad.
PRESENCE: 12 hours of Worship in Gravesend, England and Bangor, Northern Ireland
UNROLL THE SCROLL 2018: Unrolling the Word of God, decreeing and praying with several teams in Grove City, Columbus, Cincinnati, Marietta, Cleveland and Toledo.
2019: Several worship gatherings in Florida, Ohio, Virginia and Washington DC
2020: Moved to Washington DC temporarily to partner with David’s Tent DC and help the ACPR (American Center for Prayer and Revival) go 24/7.
ISRAEL & ITALY 2023: 2nd team trip to Israel, worshiping and traveling through the land and a very specific prophetic worship journey through the southern portion of Via Francigena.
REFORMATION 2024: Back in the UK on the 10 year Anniversary of Reformation 2014, redigging wells of Revival and Reformation across Scotland, Northern Ireland and also ministering in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis and Chester, England.

DAVID’s TENT DC: Since Davids Tent began in DC in 2012, the Lord has supernaturally taken the Mathews to the Capital city every year, multiple times, to partner with the continuous love song to Jesus on the National Mall. This is their favorite place in America.
